The big freeze had put paid to FC Bucks’ Christmas fixture list, and the lack of football action for the last seven weeks appeared to have taken its toll, as the strong squad of 13 ‘waddled’ into the changing rooms. |

FC Buxton 3- 6 Sheff Utd On a pitch more akin to Causeway lake than Fairfield centre Fc Buxton lost their unbeaten record to their much sharper counterparts from Sheffield.
It all started so brightly with Kyle ' Berba' Hollins controlling a Drennan cross in the six yard box and turning like a spinning top to fire home through the lake on the goal line to give FC an early lead after 30 seconds.

FC Buxton 4-3 Port ValeFC Buxton maintained there near 15 month unbeaten home league record this past Saturday, with a Dave Bainbridge inspired performance led them to a 4-3 victory against a very strong Port Vale team. FC had a scratch 12 to pick from, with numerous absentees and excuses ranging from JLS concerts, watching Wigan v Sunderland and Gambian jungle disease. However after Bammer said the ball rolls, the match was declared ON and gaffer / Derren Brown look a like Corbett went with the line up of Redburn, Bettsy, Mossy, SJC,Merson,Dren,Bammer,Tiff,Bolton,Dom and Jamie, with Brett make a late appearance on the bench. |
