FC’s pinup, player-manager Carl can often be seen tearing up the left wing, whether operating from his usual position of left back, or venturing further forward on one of his trademark overlaps. Loves to unleash The Jackhammer™ on unsuspecting opponents after beating them with his searing pace, and is loved by fellow players and fans alike. Merse is said to be fond of a week long bender (only during the summer of course), and is regularly confused with David Beckham. Voted FC’s best ever manager in a poll carried out by himself, after taking charge for the 2008/09 season. Returned for his second spell as manager in the summer of 2011.
