Pulling off the signing of Bainbridge was undoubtedly Martin Turner's finest act during his spell as manager. A Buxton FC legend, David, or Bammer as he is affectionately known, still stamps his authority on every game he plays, and, despite his advancing years, has had a major impact on improving the FC style of play.
